Richwoods, MO � December 12, 2002 � Shawn Hornbeck Search And Rescue is pleased
to announce the 1st Annual Shawn Hornbeck Benefit Night.� The event will be held on the evening of
Friday, January 3, 2003 at the Carpenter�s District Council Hall at 1401
Hampton Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63139.�
All proceeds are used to fund our ongoing search activities and media
distributions.
Activities planned for the evening include live music, dancing, a raffle and
silent auction, door prizes and more.�
The event will run from 7:00 pm until 12:00 am, with food and
refreshments available.� Tickets for the

Shawn Hornbeck Search And Rescue is a division of the newly formed Shawn
Hornbeck Foundation, a Missouri Not For Profit corporation created to provide
assistance in the location and recovery of missing or abducted children.� The Shawn Hornbeck Foundation will provide
assistance in the establishment of Search and Rescue Operations; a website for
missing children; nationwide flyer and poster distribution; child
fingerprinting and identification; and other activities to assist the families
of missing or abducted children.
Shawn Hornbeck, 11, was last seen riding his bike Oct. 6 near
his home in rural Richwoods, Mo., about 60 miles southwest of St. Louis.� Shawn is 4�-8� tall, weighs 90 pounds and
has brown hair and brown eyes.� He was
wearing blue jeans, an orange T-shirt with the word �Astros� in black lettering
on the front, and white Nike tennis shoes with a blue Nike emblem on the sides.� His bicycle is a 20� lime green 21-speed
mountain bike with the lettering �Next� and �ShockZone� on the frame.
