Foundation Partners With Creative Placard Ads To Launch 'Sitting With An Angel' Campaign
Richwoods, MO - July 10th, 2003 - The Shawn Hornbeck Foundation today announced a strategic partnership with Creative Placard Ads and the launch of their 'Sitting With An Angel' campaign. Together the partnership will place benches featuring the photo and information about a missing child at area grocery stores throughout Missouri and Illinois.
"We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Creative Placard Ads in this campaign, and feel honored to have been chosen to participate in this program" said Craig Akers, Executive Director of The Shawn Hornbeck Foundation. The program will feature a different missing child on each bench, with the first bench being dedicated to Heather Kullorn, missing from St. Louis, Missouri for nearly 4 years. Heather's bench will be dedicated in a ceremony at 1:00PM on Sunday, July 13, 2003, just 2 days before the anniversary of her disappearance. The dedication ceremony will take place at the Buy-Rite IGA, 1 Wharf Street, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367. The public and media are invited to attend.
Other missing children selected to appear on 'Sitting With An Angel' benches this month include Shawn Hornbeck, missing from Richwoods, Missouri for over 9 months, and Christian Ferguson, missing from St. Louis, Missouri for nearly a month. The benches are to be placed in Fenton and Maryland Heights, Missouri.
