Q: How old do searchers need to be to go out and search?

A: Searchers need to be at least 18 years old to go with a Shawn Hornbeck Search and Rescue Team. This is done for liability and psychological reasons as recommended by the Laura Recovery Center Foundation and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
